Deep tissue massage is designed for those clients who suffer from chronic pain. Therapists are trained to know how to provide pressure at a consistent comfortable level for each client. Deep Tissue Massage is designed to use a series of techniques that penetrate the deeper/core muscles in the body. Therapists aim to release chronic muscle tension targeting tendons and connective tissue. Therapists use contract/relax techniques, apply deep static pressure, friction and slow deep strokes to the clients body maintaining verbal contact to insure the client is always comfortable. Deep Tissue massage is great at breaking up scar tissue and is used in treating soft tissue injury due to motor vehicle accidents and recover from sports related injuries.
