Due to the variety of restrictions on a woman’s body during pregnancy, massage is performed differently at various stages of growth. Early trimester massage can be performed as normal with a few exceptions.
Later trimester massages are performed with a variety of pillows for extra support to the mother’s abdomen, legs and shoulders. Pressure is adjusted accordingly to avoid any injury to the mother or fetus.
